Jhuli began with a simple frustration: it had become hard to know what was really in the food on our table. We set out to fix that for our own families first — and then for yours.
The word ঝুলি means a bag — the one carried home from the market, filled with things chosen carefully. That is the idea we started with. We began by sourcing honey and mustard oil directly from a handful of growers we knew personally, and delivering them ourselves. Nothing was branded, nothing was mass-produced. What grew from that is still built the same way: we know where every product comes from, and we will not list something we would not serve at our own table.
